Ammann and Spanos have worked hand-in-hand since 1996 and share a number of common values and the same vision: creating long lasting partnerships with their clients, built on trust.
Nik. Kaisidis A.V.T.E., the leading Greek asphalt producer, is the quintessential example of such a partnership. Kaisidis acquired their first Ammann asphalt plant in 1996. In 2003, the company installed a new 280t/h Ammann plant, which was replaced in 2011 by an 350t/h plant with RAH50 hot recycling dryer.
The mixes made with RAP during these years helped Nik. Kaisidis A.V.T.E. to reduce its environmental footprint, significantly decrease production costs and become the leading integrated asphalt producer in Greece.
In June 2018, the company added another Ammann plant to its fleet, an ABT 180 QuickBatch, equipped with RAH50 hot recycling dryer.
The new plant will be used in the Egnatia Odos – A2 Motorway rehabilitation project near the Greek-Turkish border, producing close to 150.000 tons of asphalt. “High quality & reliability are the milestones of our company”, said Elena Kaisidou, CEO of the company.
“Ammann and its Greek dealer SPANOS are supporting us in every new step we take, providing us with exceptional products and services. This is what I call: a partnership for a lifetime!”
And the story goes on with a new order for a second, identically configured, ABT 180 QuickBatch, which will be delivered in September 2018 and will be involved in the reconstruction of the west part of Εgnatia Odos – A2 Motorway.
