The delivery of the 1st MOBISPA 135 mobile concrete batching plant to Egypt was celebrated in an “Open House” event that took place at the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) headquarters on November 12, 2017 in Cairo, Egypt.
Earlier this year, SPANOS Group, AOI and Maxim Investment Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. As per the terms of this agreement, SPANOS Group will transfer technical know-how to AOI aiming to enable the production of its mobile concrete batching plants “MOBISPA” locally. The knowledge transfer program will start with 5% and reach 40% gradually, while Maxim Group will be responsible for the commercial distribution and operations.
The event has been attended by many dignitaries such as H.E. Dr. Mustafa Madbouli Minister of Housing, H.E. Mr. Ashraf Sherkaoui Minister of Public Business, H.E. Mr. Christos Diamessis the Ambassador of Greece to Egypt, the leaders of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Chairmen of the biggest Egyptian contractors.
During his speech, Lieutenant General Abd El Aziz Seif-Eldeen (AOI Chairman) emphasized the importance of this new cooperation and the benefits that arise from this industrial knowledge transfer program.
Maxim Investment Group Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Karrar, underlined the capabilities of AOI and its role in increasing the localization of such a distinctive industrial product.
Ambassador Diamessis, emphasized the importance of increasing inter-country industrial cooperation and expressed his confidence in the success of this new partnership.

Finally, the Mobispa 135 plant has been presented to H.E. the president of Zambia Mr. Edgar
Lungu, in the framework of his 3-day official visit in Egypt.
