The 5th International Conference ‘Bituminous Mixtures And Pavements’, hosted in Hyatt Regency Hotel in Thessaloniki, finalized its successful operations a few days ago; during the 3-days Conference, 1st until 3rd of June 2011, innovative technologies, improvements and research activities, in bituminous materials and pavements were presented.
Once again, SPANOS Group successfully demonstrated its expertise and deep knowledge of the construction industry, through presentations of the latest developments in the road construction sector; this of course included the highlight of the event, the live demonstration of the new AMMANN batching plant CB 350 equipped with the innovative hot recycling system RAH 50.
The expansion and rapid growth of the asphalt and road construction sector got together worldwide researchers, constructors, investors etc to exchange the ideas and experiences in design, construction, maintenance and pavement management. The Conference came to an end with very positive feedback from the delegates congratulating on the excellent organization.
